'Choose Your Hero' has a simple concept: your students will see three heroes and can choose one of them by writing / answering one text prompt you fill into the presentation to fit your lesson. Then, the wizard hero 'Arcana' will summon one of those heroes through a portal- any student who chose that hero (and correctly wrote / answered the corresponding prompt, whether in a notebook or wherever you like) gets a point!
Editing the game template to suit your lessons only requires filling in the text boxes on the 'Hero Choice' slides (as well as the one 'Hero Reward' slide that will give students a point). The whole game (12 rounds) should take less than 30 minutes to prep, and if you have less time to play (12 rounds takes at least 20 minutes to finish), you don't have to use every slide.
With 37 original heroes and 16 original villains (each with names that should kickstart students' imaginations), your students will have so much fun playing that they won't even realize they're actually studying.
